Welcome to our home, Maison Labarbe, your home for a day on your pilgrimage journey. We are dedicating ourselves everyday to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that you have a memorable stay. We specialize in serving delicious meals made with fresh, local ingredients. Anne and Marco are both hospitality professionals bringing their passion and expertise to every guest they welcome and every meal they prepare.
Marco is a seasoned pilgrim with no fewer than 15 Caminos and Chemins to his name. For years, he searched for the perfect place to settle down and open a gîte for pilgrims. In 2024, he found it in Lanne-Soubiran, together with Anne. Before this, Marco worked as a professional chef in the demanding world of restaurants and hospitality, where he also owned and managed several businesses. It is a true breath of fresh air for him to devote his knowledge and experience to serving pilgrims. Here, his greatest passions come together.
Anne, in turn, brings many years of experience as a pastor and spiritual caregiver in the protestant church in the Netherlands, offering guidance and support to those who need it. For many years, she worked in the inner city, supporting people experiencing homelessness and those struggling with drug addiction. Moving to the countryside became a beautiful new chapter after a turbulent period in the city.
